Even though it might not really stand out, I think it's a nice kickback to the old mach's, and if they come down on the price a little I might pick one up. Even though it doesn't 'pop' I believe it's noticable, and I'm sure anyone whose ever tried to track down an old honeycomb will spot it. I do mods for me though, not other people
When it comes down to it you are exactly right. When I told a good friend of mine about a year ago that I was getting one of the new Mustangs about a year ago, he said 'you got to make it your own' and thats pretty much been my philosophy from the start. I get people telling me how to mod my car all the time but I always take in as much as I can and make my decision based on all the advise and info I've accumulated to that point. What sucks is that it still only works part of the time. Wasted a lot of time and money researching and buying stuff that didn't work out. Got a brand new TCI Torque Converter just collecting dust because Kenne Bell felt the drivability would be an issue with that high of a stall speed and didn't recommend using it with their supercharger. They're building me a SC kit that I ordered about 4 weeks ago. Had already bought the TC so now I will get screwed with restocking fees. I'm still hoping I will be able to use it later on. Gotta do more research and find out what the deal is. By the way, you were the one who made the post asking what everyone thought about the mod in the first place, so if you had already had it in your head that you liked the mod for your car, why would you care what anybody else thought? I thought you couldn't make up your mind. Anyhow, I hope everything turns out exactly how you see it in your head. Don't know about you but mine will never be complete. Later dude.
Just bought some stuff from a place in your neck of the woods. Race Part Solutions. Not sure if its anywhere near you. Got some red tubing, some black convoluted tubing and a 6-Way Fuse Block for three more gages that will be going in. The tubing is just for tidying up the engine and giving it a little color. Just thought I'd see whats up since we've been frequenting the same threads.
Any thoughts on how to keep it clean? The front grill is a basic pain, I can't imagine adding something that would double the number of honeycombs to clean.
