Shaker 500 and Pioneer AVIC-Z1

I was planning on replacing my Shaker 500 Head Unit with the Pioneer AVIC-Z1, but, I wasn't sure if it would be a perfect fit... I heard the Shaker head unit is a bit larger. Does anyone know if there is a kit that would allow me to install the AVIC-Z1?

I'm looking into that same unit - it should fit as the Shaker 500 is a double DIN sized unit
so it will look like a flush factory install.

It dose fit, I have seen it installed in a 05 with the shaker 500 it had a small fill plate surround (i think the guy said he paid $15 for it). Awsome head unit I plan on getting it as well.
