My custom trunk lid is almost done. When I finished I will write a step-by-step install if anyone wants it. I have one question before I drill it onto my trunk. I cannot get it to sit flush on the trunk because of the wiring of the trunk light. Does anyone have any suggestions of relocating the wire or anything else?

BTW-the trunk lid is black carpet material with red leatherette "Mustang lettering"
