i have a v6 05 and i was just wondereing if anyone had a recommended list of mods i should get, what would go best with my car? in an order of importance?

Exhaust is number one on the GT. I bet it would be the same on the 6. You feel so much better when you can hear the engine roar!!!

That's where to start...drop a couple dimes and then keep moving up.

 

what kind of exauste do you recomment for the v6?

i'd say if your going to go dual, go with a custom fab at like minekie (sp?). I'v heard of several good jobs go through there. The best sounding setup i'v heard on a v6 so far was a car wtih glasspack resonators mounted before the H pipe and staggered 3" apart, then had flowmaster 40 series after the H. Its all preferance. Also, some like to run the GT takeoffs, or just one and keep the stock exhaust otherwise. All opinion. Though i havent heard a MAC or Borla on our cars yet... which is why i dont have exhaust yet.

 

For the V6 get the setup with an X-pipe and dual MRT's. There are sound clips on the V6 forum and they really sound good.

 

Since you have a cf hood, I'd strongly recommend hood pins. -Joe
