Stripe Width
SK3055,
Lookin' good! I have a windveil V6 and have been eyeing dual racing stripes for a while now. I was actually leaning towards a light silver, but the white does look sharp on yours!
If you don't mind my asking, how much did the painted stripes set you back? Did it take a long time for them to do it?
Tim

I don't like the thinner 10" stripes on new larger mustangs (looks perfect on the older ones). IMO I went with 11 1/8" x 1 3/4" x 11 1/8"
I would have liked to go a little thicker but the scoop wouldn't allow. but not complaining they do look bad ***!

It cost $1K and took only 2.5 days, well worth it in my eyes. But it can cost more if you get the entire car clearcoated over again. You'll see quotes anywhere between $1,000 and $3,000. You should probably be wary of anything less than that, my paint alone cost around 660. It's ford 06 performance white if you're considering that color and if you're around the Chicago area i recommend Certified Auto Body on 41 in Lake Bluff.
I went with silver 10" stripes and a 2" gap. Then outlined each stripe with 1/4" yellow pinstripes. I kinda like'em.
