Default O/R X-Pipe Fines?

I want to put an O/R X-Pipe on my car as I live in Florida, but I am worried about the emissions laws. Do you think I would have any problem with the O/R X-Pipe with authorities/police. Is there a big fine for this? Please someone give me an update on this situation as it seems many people go with the O/R X-Pipes and don't run into legal problems.

I live in FL and have an O/R X on my 04 GT. I haven't had any issues with any police and don't have a clue as to the fines. It is pretty loud so I try to keep it quiet when I see a cop nearby.

I have off road x-pipe with JBA cans, its loud to, but ease of the gas if a cop is nearby, as for emission, just put the factory h-pipe back on for the test. I love it. Its a slightly higher pitch sound but its straight.

I do believe florida is one of those lucky states that has no inspections... no inspections, and thus that would pretty much mean no emissions... lol.
