I have posted this question in the 4.0 Specific threads, but i thought maybe i could get more info if i posted it in the general 2005 - 2006 threads as well.

I am thinking about getting the K&N Typhoon cold air intake kit. It seems like alot of people here are really into the performance upgrades so im hoping some of you guys have installed one of these on your 4.0 and can give me some info.

First question, K&N claims the typhoon gives you 7.7 horsepower to the rear wheels. Does this sound acurate to those of you who have one of these installed? How noticable a difference does the kit make in acceleration and throttle responce?

Second question, Does the typhoon improve gas mileage in any way? If so, how much per gallon?

Third question, Are there any draw backs to installing a cold air intake? Does it void the factory warranty or hender the car in any way? Would the car need a tune after installation?
