Alignment question
Had the Eibach adjusters laying around for a couple of weeks trying to figure out who to have install them. Looking at the bolts I had a hell of a time trying to figure out where they went and how they adjust the camber. Well, push came to shove when I got new tires the other day and I didn't want them to start wearing like the last set so I talked to a friend to confirm exactly where the upper spindle bolt is located (because that is the bolt you swap out with the adjusters) and discovered that changing them out was very simple. There are written directions on the box but simply put: take off the wheel. The upper spindle bolt is the top bolt holding the brake assembly on (there are 2). Remove the top bolt, loosen the lower one to make it easier to slide the adjuster in. The adjuster is not the same diameter as the other bolt and has a cam built into it so when it is rotated, it will push the top of the spindle or brake assembly in or out. In all of our cases, we want the top of the spindle to go out to correct the positive camber. I went ahead and just used all of the adjustment. I will take it in and get it aligned when I get a chance but visually, I don't see any camber. It looks straight and after road testing it I would say that it is very close to spec. Took about 30 min to do both sides.
