Default mil eliminators/bbk headers

hi all...im new here and new to mustangs..i have an 06 gt and have already started... i have a set of bbk equal length shorty headers..and a pair of flowmaster axle back mufflers... my question is this...one of the factory manifolds has a sensor and the header does not...can anyone help that has experience with this setup? also will mil eliminators work with the 06 if i got a new y pipe with cats?

thanks

Default RE: mil eliminators/bbk headers

The shortys should have a bung for the o2 sensor. The header 02 sensor is an important one - as it helps the computer monitor the A/F ratio. The 02 sensors that are in the catalytic converters are only there to see if the cats are working...

As long as you have catalytic converters, you shouldn't need MIL eliminators, but yes, they do work. (however, I think the plug is different than old mustang 02 sensor plugs, just FYI).
