I didn't expect sympathy, but y'all are just plain cold! I know I deserve every bit of it though... To fill in some blanks, the chilly/wet conditions caused my back end to get loose before the traction control had a chance to help. I wasn't all that close to the other car and thought it was over when I hit the utility pole causing the roll-over... It happened so incredibly fast... yeah, all in the attempt to get home a couple of minutes quicker... Patience is my big problem right now... patience to heal, and patience enough to wait for the car I really want...

Glad to see your in one piece and looking to get back in the saddle. These guys that are so cold must have never been in a wreck... I was in a head on wreck once. Walked away with brush burn marks on my arms from the steering wheel and a ringing in the ears from the airbags going off. The cop didn't believe i was the one in the car... Besides destorying the car, I had cracked my engine block from the impact. I was very lucky, with your injuries.... I'll consider you.. just lucky! About the busting on his driving... I don't hear many say earnhardt couldn't drive. **** happens to the best of us. Learn from it and value life a little more. Glad your ok, the grabber orange 07 has your name all over it

Woah!!!! Best of luck in your recovery, those back injuries can be really difficult. I pray you have a complete recovery.

+1 on waiting for an '07, if you check the order guides posted on the Brad Barnett forums there are some interesting option packages coming out for '07. Things like heated seats, two tone interiors, etc. It might be worth the wait.

Glad to see you're OK. Your account of the incident reminds me of the time I rode shotgun in my buddy's 75 Mustang on our way home from school back in '85. It had started snowing, and he punched the gas a little hard while joking around about how the car handled on slick roads. He recovered from a skid toward oncoming traffic, but overcompensated and skidded/spun/bounced the car off a "No Parking When Road Is Snow Covered Sign," a utility pole (breaking it in two places), in the opposite direction against a tree, and back again across someone's front yard.

The major impact points were directly ahead of each rear wheel well (except the no parking sign, which got taken out by the front driver's side fender as we slid sideways). Neither of us were hurt, and after we crawled out of what remaind of his car, we couldn't help but laugh at what had become of his car. Even though he totaled the car, the main point was that we were OK ... and that was enough to lend a big relief ... and a little humor ... to the situation.

I'd recommend the hardtop V6. You can get those quicker too. -Joe

Topless: Ignore the jag offs that have no maturity or common sense. They've apparently never been in a serious accident. I almost lost my family when an 82 year old pulled out in front of me on a highway. I completely sympathize with what you're going through. Forgot the car for awhile and heal.

Good luck to you.[sm=signs003.gif]
