Default I killed it... and almost me too...

I made a mistake last Monday night... only going 40 mph at the time, on a chilly, wet, road surface... I gave it a little too much gas at the wrong time while changing lanes to pass a slower vehicle... when it was over, I was told by a witness (I don't remember much myself) that I had rolled my convertible and hit a utility pole... shortly thereafter I was on the way to the trauma center... The result - my beautiful car is "history", and I'm in a neck brace, a "halo", with four fractures to one of my neck vertebra... I'm very fortunate to be typing this, it could have been much, much, worse... The picture should indicate what I did to myself. I'm not taking this lightly, but now to the real point of this post... I'm not one to sit and wait... with what's been said, written, and predicted, about the upcoming Stangs, I'm trying to decide whether to wait for the 07, pursue an 06, or maybe even look for a slightly used 05... any thoughts.

Ouch!

Glad you're recovering. Once the insurance settles go straight to the lots and find a new '06 in your color. You'll be waiting a while for the '07's unless you can find a very clean '05. Next time leave the traction control on.

That is terrible, honestly don't even worry about the car as insurance will take that but that looks like it could've been much much worse for you. Did you drift out of control and lose traction, was there an extra lane to pass the guy or did you go on the other side? Just curious how old are you and again just be happy you are alive and that the worst didn't happen. Glad you are okay, as for the year model to get next I would say scratch the 05 and its between the 06 and 07 and get which one you want most. If you want to wait for the 07 then go for it, if not then the 06 is yours.

To answer your question I would wait for the 07 model ( if I could ) do you have another car that you can drive..??

also I hope you feel better as I am sure you are very sore right about now..!!
