No way in HE77!!!

That's 4400 lbs! With a driver and full tank of gas, mine weighed in at 3550 lbs.

I was trying to remember the conversion table but I think you're right. 1 kilo = 2.2 lbs. Yeah that's not correct for your weight.

what does it say on your titles/registrations? I seem to remember reading somewhere that the GT Coupe weighed 3470 dry? That sounded heavy to me. 3550 with ~180 pounds of driver (sorry if I am way off) and 100 pounds of fuel sounds about right.....

I think the ragtop may be about +50 pounds.......

my 89 5.0 coupe was about 3050 pounds dry, as I recall.....and the ragtop is about +100.....

This is all based on printed specs or recollections thereof; I never had anything weighed except trailers.

I believe the 'vert weighs 125 lbs more.

You should be in the ~3500lbs range. If memory serves, the weight should also be listed on the inside of your driver's side door frame.

kinda off topic but how much do the power seats weigh? what kind of weight loss can one expect from getting racing seats? any weight reduction methods?

i've read the seats are about 50lbs each and the rear seat is over 40lbs. my car weighed in at 3300 w/o driver. i do have a few things done to lighten the car up which is worth about 200lbs. the auto trans is 50lbs heavier also. verts are 125-150lbs. heavier.

2000kg is the Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR), or the total of the car's weight plus it's maximum safe cargo capacity. It's on the sticker in the door jamb (actually 2019kg for my GT coupe). This is the weight that the government cares about 'cos it tells them how much potential damage you can do to their roadways.

+1 DMV's usually go by GVWR, they don't care what a vehicle weighs empty just the total weight capacity of the vehicle.
