just fill the trunk with helium balloons to improve gas mileage and racing performance.

Just for curiosity, does anybody know roughly what the spoiler weighs? I would guess 5 pounds or so? Do you know if they use different trunklid springs if you get the "spoiler delete" option.....or does the trunk just pop up faster?

4 liter Conv:

Curb weight 3424 lbs
GVWR 4420 lbs



Looks like the GT coupe & V6 Conv are the same weigth.

What's even better is the 52/48 Weight Distribution.

I have to say it is the best balanced car I've driven. The other was my 1970 Cougar.

I'd be concerned about racing seats vs. weight. Man your going to be very uncomfortable on a cruise. Sure if it's just your quarter mile dragstrip car. But there are a lot of ways to lose weight. Most costly though. But it's up to you.
