Default Single Point Jacking

-- '05 GT
Help out the old dumb guy, will ya ?
Owner's manual says it's 'no-no' to jack the car up
from the differential. So what is safe for the single point floor jack
for the front and fear of the car ?

Thanks for the help.

I don't know either guys&girls.
It's just the owners manual that states that warning.
I've owned many cars that I worked on myself, first I heard of this.
The only difference,is this 'stang is solid axle, not irs ?

Been jacking them up for years this way. My only guess is maybe they are afraid someone may accidentally damage the cover which would of course then cause the rear end to leak.
