OK, I have the roush S/C, and just installed the 4.10s today. DONT DO IT. ( I say this, because I am a very selfish person, and I want all this fun for myself) It is totally awesome. The car doesnt take off, it leaps! Its like, you are sitting at a light, and think, "Hmmm, I wish I was 40 feet from here" and BOOM. you are. Totally driveable, too. Not really any noticeable increase in RPMs in 5th at 65-70. First gear is optional, but still not useless. The car runs right in the power range through all gears, and it still has pickup in 5th. I havent hammered it yet, cause Im breaking it in for a few hundred miles, btu Ill be track testing next week, weather permitting.

The only problem Im having is the speedometer. I bought a speedometer recalibrating box from Brothers Performance, and the dang thing doesnt work for the 05-06. Anyone have any ideas how I can reset my speedometer? I cant use a tuner, because the roush tune isnt supposed to be messed with. Does anyone know of a speedometer calibrator that works on the 05-06?

I'll sell you my Diablo Predator which can adjust the speedo in your car to be accurate with you gear ratio...

Your tuner should allow you to change the gear ratio. Both the SCT and Diablo allow that. My custom dyno tune on the SC2 is tweakable. I don't mess with the spark or fuel, but I can adjust transmission shift, rpm limits, rear gear ratio, etc.

Hook up your tuner and just punch through the program without modifying. I'd bet it will come to a place you can add the correct ratio for the gears.

Lucy, LOL, that's a hoot! Now I really can't wait. I have the appointment to get mine installed the week after next along with TONS of other stuff. I really enjoyed reading your description!

As far as your speedo, call Roush. I'm sure they can take care of this for you. With something like that, They might even just charge a shipping andd handling fee if they have to mail something. Hopefully they will be able to talk you through making the change over the phone. -Joe

Roush took care of the Speedo- I can have the dealer do it, or use my Diablo, I just cant change anything else without blowing the warranty. The 4.10's are SWEET. Good thing I got the shift light! It comes on awful quick
