What years does this apply to??? and I thought they put paint somewhere in there too... must have stopped doin that...

I was looking for VIN information and came across this old post. Is the â€˜production sequence numbersâ€ at the end of the VIN the order in which each particular car was made for that model yearâ€¦ i.e. the lower the number â€“ the closer to the begginning of production?
