I have three 1st place at shows and I never open the engine at the shows I now have a s/c so maybe. The roush has a OEM look to it.

I picked up a solid black cover from Midwest Auto Gear. I painted the ribs and the lettering at home. Mine is actually one of the showcase covers as well as some others here on the site.

What primer and paint did you use? will it prevent oxidation in the aluminum?
