Default Rear window louvers.

I'm going for the old 67-69 Fastback look and want some louvers. (Probably for Fathers Day.)

Has anyone seen these rear window louvers on a real car? It's hard to tell from these pictures but I think the one looks a little "plasticky". The set on the black car are powder coated aluminum. The other description doesn't say.

Any opinions or advice?

I believe FORD makes a geenywine Louver, and you can also find them on ebay, for around $135, and exact match painted for $97 more from a FORD Dealer in PA or VA.
Also, check at Jack Roush, they make a nice aftermarket Louver they sell separate from their package.

Thanks for the info. That's a great deal. I'll check both places.

Appreciate it.

Personally, I like the look of the MRT ones. They're what I plan to get eventually. It's what scrming has on his car as well.

Then that's a vote for #2? So far I haven't had any luck finding any deals on ebay. Scratch that. Only found bad deals on eBay.

I am holding off getting the MRT's.... I seen a set on a 05 mustang @ the NMRA Spring Ford National's car show in Bradenton they were a lower profile then the MRT's ...looked a lot like the old 69's ...their was a little sticker on the Louver saying who made it .........and forgot to write the name down ..and they were not plastic ....so that why I am holding off.....someone else is making them too .....and I think they look better

Looking for the same thing. I have a black GT. Should I paint them or just leave them as they come (black I assume)?

Going to look for the Ford Louvers on google...

Will get back

My thought is to leave them flat black. Then paint my spoiler to match.

Ford doesn't make a louver, if they did it would be in the FRPP or Mustang Accessory catalogs and it's not. I think LEJAY was thinking 1/4 window louvers since he refrences Roush.
