Does anyone know how to program the ford alarm to auto arm? I don't wanna take it to the dealership if I can help it. I hate those friggin ppl...

 

Did you check the manual? It probably says in there if you can or can't. I myself don't like the auto arm. I had an aftermarket alarm in one of my winter beaters that auto armed and I stopped to get gas (and by habit i left the keys in the ingnition. The darn thing locked me out of the car! LOL

 

I checked the manual but it didn't mention how to program anything. In my last car you had to turn it on press a button, open the door, close the door, hit the button, do a little dance and it would turn auto arm on or off. Pretty sure it would work the same in this case. I doubt you'd have to pull it out and hook it to a terminal to program that function. One of the guys at ford told me they don't normally do the auto arm function on the 05+ because when the alarm arms it does NOT lock the driver side door. It's supposedly to keep ppl from getting locked out. My thinking is this...better to have an unlocked door and an armed alarm, than an unlocked door and no alarm because you forgot to set it...
