Default Hood lift kit

I see in Moss that Colbolt makes a hood lift kit that once the hood is open 8inches it does the rest. Less than $90 without shipping. Anyone try these or others and like or dislike them?
Thanks,
WC

I've got the Redline Tuning Hood Struts on my GT and love 'em:

Those look a lot better than the ones I was looking at.
Thanks,

I wish i got those instead of my Redlines. They hold the hood open further and there's no rivets

Would you guys recommend them for a fiberglass hood? Cervini's in particular.

From what I see the Redline kit requires mounting in a location that forces you to drill and use rivets, I may be wrong. CDC's struts use factory locations and bolts which keep the struts tucked towards the back freeing up space on the side that the Redlines take up.
