Anything other than the stock lights in the car and you will void the warranty (according my dealership) if the black reflector melts! See my other post on this.
I am actually having my dealership research cooler burning bulbs for me, because even the stock ones are too hot for their black reflector. So read carefully the temperature ratings of any bulbs you get!!

Anyone know the wattage rating of the stock bulbs for the headlights and foglights? I just received the Halogen bulbs about 20 minutes ago, but I'm going to hold off putting htem in for a little bit I think.

I checked out all the bulbs over the last month or so. I settled on these http://www.eautoworks.com/html/ORD-1-1-1-100319.cfm as they are the ONLY ones DOT certified. And having the certification they are the only "legal" ones where I live, and as such Ford can't complain about them. They are just plain white, might not be quite as brite as the luminics and other brands but for me they work fine.

Sorry guys, just wanted to bump this one to the top. I was looking to install these today, but am a bit uneasy from a couple of the posts. I was hoping some others had some experience with these and could weigh in here...

Pull...

Yea... definately dont' go higher wattage then the factory ones... several people have had "melting" problems with the fogs and headlighs.

FORD went unbeliveably and unreasonably CHEAP when they buillt the lighting system on these things!

I haven't switched out my bulbs yet - but I did adjust my headlights much higher from the factory setting which helped a LOT!

I haven't done my fogs yet because I am still fighting with FORD for replacements.
