Be careful, some of those lights run much hotter than stock and can damage/melt your headlight. Check out Sylvania Silver Stars to start with. They are white not blue. Most of these types of bulbs have a much shorter lifespan as well. If you want the HID look your best bet is to poney up the $$$ and get an HID kit or the Saleen lights.

Check our daniel Stern lighting. he has alot of great information about choosing bulbs for cars. I have the silverstars in another car, they arent so great. The blue tint on the glass of the bulb actually hinders performance. They arent brighter by much as any gains gotten by overdriving the bulb are mostly lost in the blue coating.

Take this advice seriously... It happened to me. I put yellow 25 watt bulbs (Xenon) in my fogs and the melted the lens and the metal bulb shrouds loose. The bulbs in the mustang are a special design (H13) that push the bulb out and away from the lens. Look closely and you'll see what I mean. It might be more obvious if you look at them when they are removed from the socket. You might consider HID for the main headlights, they are much cooler than quartz bulbs and Silverstars for the fogs.

Here is a HID setup with both high and low beams. Becareful if you choose another brand, as some only have just the low beam (no high beam). Also, this setup is less expensive than the Saleen setup (Saleen is about $850).

I just ordered a Halogen Ultra Whites (H13 and H10) from http://automotivelightingusa.com

Anyone have any experience with these? They should be arriving today.

Just a comment/question... I ask this seriously, aside from causing temporary blindness to other drivers, do these aftermarket bulbs serve any purpose?
