I agree that if you bought your car as an investment, then you would've been better off buying a foreign sports car or a Harley-Davidson, those are machines that don't really deprciate in value.

Hold on now, the purpose of starting the thread was to see if the car, held a better resale value than the rest of the market. Maybe, I titled the thread wrong. But, the intent was not to ask if it was a good investment., or if it would increase in value.
Sheesh.

And what the last person said is what the answer is--it might hold its value better than your average Taurus or something, and right now is holding its value quite well for an American car, but the reality is that once the numbers available catch up it almost certainly won't hold it's value like a japanese or german car would. Being a car guy, I have tended to trade vehicles every 2 years or so the last 4 or 5 times. The last american car I had, it was VERY difficult to find a dealer who would even give me what I owed on it. On each of the foreign cars I had since then, I was able to get a couple thousand MORE than I owed on it when I traded it in. Now I personally haven't found the foreign cars I have owned to have been any more reliable on average probably than the american vehicles I have owned, but one thing I WILL say is that foreign cars retain their value wayyyyy better than american cars.
