I'm Buying a GT -- questions
I'm about to buy a Vert GT, and I have access to use Ford's X-Plan. I went to my local dealership here in Conroe Texas (Gullo Ford) and got a quote on a fully loaded GT which was $34,900, and $32,153 with the X-Plan. This seems really high to me. 05RoushGT said that he got his Roush for 33k with the X-Plan.
Is there a better way for me to get a good deal on my car? I would love to get a Roush, but I thought they would be too expensive. Any suggestions you can give would be very helpful!
P.S: I'm paying cash.

You can't act like you "can't live without the car" or the got ya...
tell them you will wait until the 07's come out and I beat they change their tune..???
bottom line ... tell them your car you have NOW runs fine... lol
best of luck
BTW: I dealt for 4 months on mine with 3 different dealers and went with the one that gave me the lowest price...

loaded GT premium vert I am getting (no auto and no shaker 1000 though) stickers at about 34,500; I am getting for about 31,500 (can't find the paperwork right now so I can only ballpark it). The deal is $100 over invoice. No X-plan, no nuthin.
Your dealer is not giving you any deals.

RE: I'm Buying a GT -- questions
The best advice i can give you is do not deal with the salesman that stand around like vultures. Call a few dealerships and get the name of the Fleet Manager. Then a few days later call him back and ask to speak to him like you know him. then tell him you would like to order a car and are willing to pay 500 over Dealer Invoice. He does not work on commission so he will either say yes or no.
Also go to kbb.com and get the dealer cost of the car equpped as you want it then you know what the pricve is in advance
