Save your money and move out of the ghetto area before you buy a stang. You won't have it very long.

Back to the subject....Where do you live thats so ghetto? I personally wouldn't buy the stang until you could get out of the ghetto-ness area. I wouldn't even want to risk it. They might not be on that list, but they certainly are a hot car. There are plenty in Downtown LA missing quite a few parts because other people thought their cars were safe.

Yeah I know, I probably should have stated in my post though that I just felt like being a smart ***...it's just so much funnier to thing of some little stoned guy eating funyuns jonzen over a carvan lol

It's not the car, it's the parts. Depending on the year, the parts for a dodge caravan are fully interchangable with the Plymouth Voyager, Dodge Grand caravan, and Chrysler had it's own version too. That make the parts off of this van 4 times more valuable than most cars on the road.

I've been a reader of this forum since Jan 05'. Not quite sure when it happend,
but I remember that someone here had a Roush Mustang that was stolen.
It was a pro job too. I beleive it included the use of a tow truck and that the car was
taken right out of its parking space. Unfortunately, I don't think He ever found the car.
Anyone who remembers this, do chime in.

If you can move, I would. I hate driving my mustang to my boyfriends house-- he lives in a kinda bad area and even though nothing has happened, I don't want to take the chance. Mustangs are hot items right now and so it could easily be stolen.
If you do get the car, get the lojack and a GOOD alarm. Oh, and a shotgun.

RE: Stolen mustangs?
Newer Mustangs are somewhat difficult to steal due to the PATS system. Towing it off is hard to defend against. Now a Fox Body, someone with only a large screwdriver can break in and break the ignition lock to crank the car.

Give this one a try;
http://www.mymobileguardian.com/
Let's you track your own car online, activate the onboard kill switch when car is stopped, limit speed car can travel, etc.......
$750.00 ballpark, one time charge, no monthly......I love it.
