Drivers Height?
Sup guys, im new to the forums. I am really thinking about getting an 2005 Mustang in the next few weeks so i am here reading up on info.
One question i have right now is how tall are some of you drivers that have one already. Im a small guy, only 5'4". I have heard the shorter you are the harder it is to drive these cars, i just think if you know how to drive you good to go. What do you guys think?
All feedback and replies are welcome and thanks in advance!!!

I don't think you will run in to any problems. My wife is 5'4 as well, she drives the car just fine. I believe with her in the drivers seat there is still some forward travel left in the seat. My advice is to go take a test-drive, youll love the car.

I'm 5'5" with 30" inseam (female) and I have no problems with my GT. The power seat has a lot of fwd-bkwd-up-down travel. It took some tweaking when I first got the car but then I found the sweet spot with my seat. I did find that the clutch pedal travel is a lot longer than my previous cars, so if you are planning on a manual trans (depending on your leg length) you might end up putting the seat back a little higher than you were previously used to. I say this because not only is the clutch travel long, but the shifter in 3rd and 5th is kind of far away...so I had to pop my seat back up straighter so I didn't miss shifts during hard acceleration.
Another thing. I found I had to have the seat bottom up higher the first few weeks I had the car until I got a better feeling on how wide/big the car is. When you aren't all that tall it is hard to see around the car with the seat bottom all the way to the floor. Once I got my bearings I can now put the seat lower to the floor.
Just my two cents to share.

The leather driver's seat that came with the Premium interior package on my 2005 convertible also has up and down motion in addition to forward and back. You should be able to find a perfect position with that feature.
As for the seatbelt rubbing the neck of short people, it also rubs annoyingly on those of us over six feet tall too. I miss the height adjustment of the other cars I've owned.

The seats adjust very well.
