Aside from the wheel options, are there any other differences or changes made to the 2006 Mustang from the 2005 model?

 

some new color options, but i believe thats it.

 

Late in the '06 model year, a Charcoal IUP was offered. kinda like a CF look.

 

I thought they updated the gas tank and stiffened the hood....

Well, I haven't heard any hood clatter at 120 m.p.h. The Shaker500 seems solid. And no odd clicking from the front axle. Coincedence?

 

I know at over 120 the hood on my 06 moves enough to catch my eye. Was very unsettling the very first time I noticed it, as I didn't like the distraction!

having owned both, I did notice that the hood is more stable at high speeds, no popping in the strut area and the wheel hop is gone.....

 

There may be something with the rear lights. I was at a site last nite the expressely listed the sequential light kit for the the 05/06 and stated that they only work for the intended MY

 

I have about 2K miles on my 06 and am getting a slight groan from the front end when I make slow turns. Anyone else getting this? My power steering fluid level is OK. Maybe the oversized tires (275's)?

Was this a problem with the 05's?

 

The 06's are faster. JUST KIDDING
