I think redbullet is right about the rear tail light plugs--midway through the 06 production run they seem to have switched to a different plug style. Mine were installed in October, 2005 and they had the 05 style plugs.

I also heard a rumor that they were going to a steel hood in 06? Mine isn't, with a build date of November, 2005. No issues with the hood at 110, solid as a rock--I know some of the 05s had incorreclty adjusted hood bumpers, and folks have had some success with adjusting these.

The only other thing I heard of different from 2005 - 2006 was the intake filter/trap thingy that folks were saying you should pull out to gain a couple hp. I think they stopped putting them in half-way through the 2005 run, so all 2006s shouldn't have them.

BTW, CrazyHorse, I sometimes get the same sound, but only on a really slow turn. I haven't figured it out yet--sounds almost like muffled grinding?

 

i hope you dont have 275s on the front! the groanig would be your tire on the inside fender

if i were you id throw on some 245'sin the front if your 275 inteh back.. make her look good too

 

yep, steel hood on '06 vs. aluminum hood on '05. Some of the early '06's may have gotten the '05 hoods, as they are the same. Another note, most of the aftermarket hood manufacturers reccomend hood pins if you are going to exceed 85mph, now who would do that ME!
