ok, so you know how on alot of tints the rear quarter panels black outlining shows up and it looks silly with the tint there, whats the best tint % so that it doesnt have the tint or the blackoutline on the back quarter window, i want the car to have a really dark tint, what %s do you guys recommend and some pics would be great

 

I went with Limo tint by Formula One. I don't the % of cover but its really dark. I live in California where it illegal to have any tint on your side windows or windshield. It has a Lifetime warranty that is also transferable. I can't member but I think its a ceramic made tint to help the vehicle stay cooler.


P.S I will try yo post some pics later. I have taken any new pictures yet.

I have 20% and looks great...still illegal though.
35% is legal in Tennessee on front-side windows...all others (except front of course) no rules...can paint them if you want.

The dreaded "dot matrix" around the windows does look lighter than the tint because the tint won't stick to it, but it still looks good. I like the copper wiring in the defrost against the black tint.

You can see the outline in the tint in DStang05's back window. I think it's neat looking.

Ok I have a question, sorry for thread jacking, but I really like the stangs in this forum that are tinted. I've never thought about doing this but the mod bug has me. I checked the tint laws in WI, side windows are only 50%.

Here's the question: at 50%.... what's the point. Does anyone have a 50% tint? Pics are always appreciated.

 

dstang im defiently loving that tint, what scoops are those on your windows? got any more pics of it, you say its 5%?

 

i'm goin 20 so i dont get harrassed too bad by the cops if i do get pulled over. i'd love to go 5 though

 

Those are Razzi scoops. You can find them on ebay and at http://www.automotiveconcepts.net/st...hp?p=111#.were I brought mine. Automotive concepts sends them painted to your color.
