Default Pics wanted - Black GTR Ram Air w/pins

Hi....I have a GTR Ram Air hood from RKSport. Guess I got one of the good ones, I love it and the fit is great. The only problem, makes too much movement over 80-85mph, makes me nervous. Last fall I bought the Ford Racing hood pin set, but I am too chicken to drill into my hood without seeing more pics. If anyone has pics of a black stang with some type of ram air hood, and any type of hood pins....I would really appreciate seeing them. Thanks a lot!!!

Not to highjack your thread, but have you noticed your car running any leaner or seen any performance increase with the CAI and ram air hood?

Thanks,
John

Sorry John....went MIA for a couple days. Big difference when I first installed the CAI and Predator tune. No noticeable difference with the RAM air hood.....other than it looks real sweet!!!

before you drill and put the hood pins in try adjusting your hood stops. there was a thread on it a while ago... i think under 'hood dancing'. screw them out a bit and see if it helps. now that i think about it i did that the other day, just haven't taken her on the highway yet to see if the problem was fixed

I feel your pain. I have a built in scoop on my FG hood on my other car. At higher speeds, the hood can really start bulging/shaking. So far it's lasted two years with no signs of fatigue on the hinge/latch areas. I think if the hood is built well it will not break off on you . But a little extra assurance never hurts I guess.

Speaking of hood scoops, does anyone know if the 07 hood scoop is molded/seamless or bolt-on? Also I know it's rather small but I wonder if it will contribute to hood shake/lift.
