Tunes
I have the Diablo and it is extremely easy to use. I put in an Airaid CAI and then did the 87 performance tune and I notice improved throttle response and better gas mileage as well. Very easy to use.
The caveat here is how much you actually want to do in terms of mods and performance. If you were doing things that required you to set up custom tunes it might not be so straight forward. I am not that ambitious. But for what I did I found the Diablo to be more than good. I also have a good shop here that support sthe Diablo and that made me feel more comfortable.
My only advice is have a really good idea of what you want to do before you make the investment.

Just to add another question to this thread since we are talking about tunes Is it possible to use someone elses tuner on my car instead of purchasing a new one. Lets say I wanted to install an intake, gears and underdrive pullys and that would be it could I use someones tuner once just to get the job done or will it cause a problem somehow?
You can't use someone else's tuner unless they did not use it yet. And once you use it, they won't be able to. See, once a tune is downloaded from the tuner to the car, the tuner is locked to that car. It prevents "piracy" of their software. (You can't pass around your tuner. Everyone has to buy their own tuner (license to use their tune).
