Anyone get any rattling rubbing in their s197's? I get rubbing sounds on the top corners of the dash, and rattling from what sounds like the glove box. Its only every now and then and not very loud but i HATE rattles.

 

Yes, I get a rattling from the glove box area too. If I press down on the top of the dash just over it the rattle stops. I am not sure what to do about it because the air bag is located in the same area.

 

Try opening the glove box and moving the latch back and forth...that's where my sqeeking was. I unscrewed the latch and put 2 pieces of velcro (cut from computer cable straps) between the latch and the dash and no more squeeks!

 

My Drivers Mirror buzzes when I hit good bumps or have the base turned up on the stereo. Sounds like a bunch of bees stuck in a soda can.

My Vert Top squeeks like 100 mice asking for food on a bumpy road when it is down.

Does anyone have a rattle in the door behind the handle? I found that the cover behind the door pull is loose. What have others done to fix this?
