Default Mustang haters

Has anybody had any confrontations in thier Mustang?

I actually had some butthole in a truck try to run me off the road.......twice. I wasn't speeding or doing anything stupid, the guy just didn't like me.(oh..he was driving a Chevy truck)
Next on the list, I was going to Sonic and there were a bunch of cops there eating and flirting with the car hops(yeah...big surprise there). I pull up and everyone of the cops looked up and gave me an eat **** look and stared at me. The car is stock and not loud.

They don't bother me in the Towncar, but the second they see the Mustang they think punk kid and treat me like one..... I kinda like it, makes me feel young again.

it seems like people love the car at the dealership, but when you drive it they hate you.

I'm 15 with a 67 coupe. I'm fixing it up completely by myself but people love to be idiots and ask me what else I'm gonna do with "Daddy's money" (I own my own pressure washing complany) or how long it's going to take me to total my Dad's car. My Dad doesnt know anything about cars at all and it drives me crazy how ignorant people can be.

lol no, no confrontations yet....do you have a vanity plate
that might be upsetting people right off the bat? if not then
I wouldn't get paranoid....probably just a run of bad luck, don't
let it spoil your fun in the stang

LOL. I just posted on another thread about appearence mods. If anything, I wish my car was a little less conspicuous. Haven't had any events yet with my '06, but it's a way of life even with my stock-looking '88.

But now that I think about it, it is why we drive these cars to begin with, isn't it? Gotta take the bad attention with the good, right?

So far no negative attention towards me.

Only a few guys here and there that try to "race" when I'm just driving normal.

Yea, I love the real cool rice drivers who bust off the line at a busy intersection thinking there so hot when the cop does a flip flop and pulls their dumb a$$es over. That one gets me everytime I love it. It's good to know ricers have big smart brains behind all those bolt ons[sm=wtf.gif] I gues their trying to compensate for something, I duno !?

No attempts on my life as of yet, however I usually get a compliment, wave or thumbs up. Every now and then you get snubbed. I think it's just from people that aren't allowed to own a nice car like the Mustang. Wives/Husbands won't let the spouse have a fun toy, you have one and that really torques their socks. Just smile and wave, that really pi$$es em off.
Enjoy.

I had a dodge ram rev up next to me while screaming "That POS can't run." He didn't say anything at the next light...
