Well - I agree it's hard to diagnose a noise/vibration without experiencing it. For the driveshaft - it only vibrates/drones at 80+ mph - what RPMs are you turning then? Try to replicate the condition - steady speed in a lower gear / lower speed to see if it does it at the same RPM. I had a similar problem only at certain speeds in a different car and it ended up being tires out of balance - I took it to a local place who used the Hunter road force balancer system and it was resolved.

On a completely different note - have you changed alignment settings - either by lowering the car or maybe hitting something? A car out of alignment car srcub the tires which can cause them to wear inconsistently and/or 'cup'. You can check for that visually - and put on a glove and run your hands around the tire tread - if the leading edges of the tread blocks are slightly higher then you have cupped tire(s).

Good luck!

It seems to be way too slow between cycles to be a tire issue. Plus, when I'm doing a constant 80/85 mph and hit the gas when it cycles the shifter will rattle. The shifter will also ratlle in any gear at 2500-3000 rpm. everybody kept saying that the aftermarket shifters will do that but something has to be causing it to happen only at mid to higher rpms. I think[&o]

Hey there!! I had the same problem at about 70-75 mph. It turned out to be the drive shaft needed to be replaced. Now all is good! Good luck and keep us posted..
