Just curious if resonators would count as mufflers come inspection time. Thanks!

 

I think that would depend on the inspector.

There is a fine line between a resonator and a muffler. I have seen people call any small muffler a "resonator". I belive a *true* resonator doesn't have any packing in it whereas a muffler does? But there is no way to tell that a visual inspection of the exhaust on your car.
