Making some changes to my '06 GT vert today...
Cervini rear spolier is in the paint booth now and we just took off the trunk in order to shave the key hole and remove that huge (and ugly IMO) GT fake chrome gas cap thingy.
Now my rear end will be smooth and no more stupid factory rear wing.
Very happy... just had to share and there has to be at least 10 jokes about a rear end in there somewhere.

 

Please post pics of the clean tail. I may be interested in doing that!

When will it be done? So far it looks like it will be a good mod.

 

LIt'll be done later today. Just spot primed the trunk lid and next it gets block sanded and then primed and painted.
Probably won't have time to get the spoiler on today though. That will go on Tuesday.

 

You are right, I like that already. Are you going to put any lettering back there or leave it plain? I am digging that the more I think about it!!!!!

 

No letters... no nothing... just black paint going on back there.
Maybe when the '07 Shelby comes out I'll stick a "SHELBY" logo back there, but then again that would be kind of poser(ish).

 

I think if you are putting out 500 horses or at least 350 then you have the right to bare the Shelby badge.

 

Why be something your not. How about being you a mean mother fuc*er.
