Now Skycam...for that kind of loot I think you could have a much better personalized car. I'm trying to add it all up in my head and I just don't see the 60 grand there. Looks more like 30-35 in upgrades. And will someone please explain what "electric supercharged" is?

Skycam, as for the Ford GT (I assume that you have a Ford GT and not a GT40?), I too would be happy to take this problem vehicle off your hands if it is a source of disappointment.

If you do in fact have a GT40, then I guess I could take that, too....

 

Yes I'm not an idiot I have a speed yellow GT40 and had a screeming yellow GT mustang I had built to be a GT350 but blew up and caught fire while I was driving. If you haven't had a GT40 then you wouldn't know how stupid it looks when you go to a show and park and have to move over a couple of time because your door had to be completely open to get out of the dam thing! Yes you can buy them for $160,000 and I know you think that is stupid but look at book on them today. They are booking at 220,000.00 and its only going up.

Yes this car will be a 2006 but I'm having it built to match the 2007 Cobras except I'm doing some things better. I put 2007 cobra because I thought some of you true Ford guys would know what I ment when you saw the car. Why does it matter if I paid $90,000 or $30,000 its a one off car. Never again will one be built exactly like it. Had the car appraised for insurace and it was valued at $77,000. That's not bad for a new car that's only going up in value.

instead of asking, "why spend all this money on a mustang, for that $$$ get a X" on a mustang board how about this:
we remain happy with the fact, that it is still afterall, a Mustang.

it appears to me Skycam Loves the Mustang to the point he'd rather have a really fast, real custom stang instead of a real fast, plain stock GT(which he already has, I know) or any other car that is in the $90,000 Price range USD>

You got it! There are 5 of us here that are Helo pilots. We all bought GT40's Yeah they cost money I know but the one setting next to mine is still a GT40 so who really cares about that anymore. Bring in a Cobra like Bash is building with a GT40 engine and the Mustang Cobra look!!! Now you have a car! Truth I wouldn't pay $90,000 for a GT40 now but thier value is going up so its hangered and waiting.

I want the 69 Mustang BOSS look with the same power but to keep it on the ground and safe you have to do some things to it. I road coarse race about once a month and it will
need down force. Me I like the look of the wing. Just wait till you see it. I changed it to exactly what I wanted.

I'm in IL. to and fly into SpngFld and Chicago quite a bit. I'm down close to Quincy. How about a ride then you tell me. No cup holders? my guess is because it beats you so bad the drink would fly out! This car has the stage 3 upgrade so its way fast.

I quite like the body kit on that stang and hey if he's willing to spend the bucks, who's to say? He is passionate about his Ford's and his Mustangs and I can appreciate that.

I personally could quite live without the wing, but if he likes it then all the more power to him.
