Default Painted Mirrors

Well I had my mirrors painted today....I should have listened to fairlane292 and done the prep myself. They look good but they could have been better. But what did I expect for 150.00

lol yeah they look great, but they didn't sand them well enough on the edges on the side with the mirror. They did great on the back...lol...I am particular I guess, they do look great though. I am glad I did them. Not sour grapes though they are great and I would recomend that everyone do it!

They do look nice, unless you see something I don't! I went with mirror covers but they don't cover the whole of the mirror but that suited me fine as I have that whole grey and black thing going on. I did get a body shop tell me when I ask about getting mine painted that after a while the paint could start to flake depending on how fast you drive and the paint not gripping to the plastic as well as it could.

Be proud of them I think $150 was a good price too.

Actually I am very proud of it. There is one small blimish I will have them fix but all in all they are great. I was overwhelmed by the fact that they left the car very dirty, they drove it through some mud and they tracked in the "dust" from the shop and got it all over the floorboard and on everything they touched. I think I was just distraught by the shape it came back overall. Now the next day I am extremely happy with them and yes, 150 was a great price!

It is true that they might have issues later on but I figured even if I had to paint them every year and a half or so, it is worth it to me for the great look!

Thanks to all of you for the recomendations and ideas! CAI and tune next!...well maybe after some graphics...stripes or something like them...
