Zeio,

I was concerned about that when I was discussing with Fred from steeda and he assured me that the difference between the two in harshness was minimal and that the performance gain in handling was substantial... I have been dealing with them for over 10 years and they have never given me bad advise. On my SN95 I had every mod across the board, I must have had about 25-30K into that car and alot of Steeda parts... The spherical bushings on other components make it very rough but not the panhard... I went poly everywhere else for that reason...

I am not big into 1/4 mile, I set my cars up for auto-x...

Will post a followup once installed this weekend...

Any reason why you went with the spherical rod ends on the panhard rod? I hear they make your teeth chatter they make so much noise compared to the poly bushings. If this is primarily a strip car and not a street car then i'm sure you will live.
Thats good to know, hope everything works out for ya. I just had the Tokicos, Eibach pro kit and Steeda panhard bar/brace installed, so you will love it, have fun.

Nice! I'd be interested to know about your setup(s) for auto-x. I started racing with mine this season. So far I'm impressed, just basic stock setup.

These shock from FRPP are they adjustable? The steeda stuff looks impressive.

You have some nice stuff why did you pass on the frame rail connectors from BMR/STEEDA?

Good work!!

Did you purchase the Ford Racing Handling Pack with all of the components? How much did you end up paying.

Please let us know what you think of these parts after installation. I am considering purchasing the Handling Pack.

Thanks ---

Richard,

Will let you know...

Let me know how the Ford racing shocks/struts are. I'm thinking about buying them also, but heard that they are a pretty harsh ride. Thanks.

Well I have the parts mentioned above and next is a 14" big brake kit up front with 4 piston calipers and two piece slotted rotors and two piece slotted routers out back and a good set of pads f/r... Then it's shorty headers, x-pipe and axle back high flow mufflers... And under the hood it will be the Ford Racing aluminum radiator and the Ford Racing Whipple twin-screw...

The ford racing shocks are not adjustable, and I will be bolting on the rear connectors next week...

Thanks,

I got the complete kit with the pack, I paid delivered 1,150.00 and the Steeda parts came out to about another 1,200.00; will post my impressions on the setup this weekend...

Ok, just finished the install this afternoon, it took about sixe hours by myself with a few jacks and lots of tools... Took my time and torqued everything to spec... Will take her out for a ride in the morning and post my impressions... She sits just right now with the 1.5 inch drop, will post pics tomorrow...

Oh, one thing I did note during the install is tha the factory pan-hard bar mounting bracket support is very flimsy...[&:]

Ok, took her out today and WOW/Awesome! What a difference, she handles amazing and it is not harsh at all, just very precise and all of the wallow and play is gone... The panhard is great to, I am glad I went for the spherical ends, the back and is nice and tight now, no more of that wiggle and side deflection out back... No body roll either, even flatter on turns than ever and turn in is instant...

Will post pics of her dropped in the morming, very nice stance now...
