Just a quick FYI - I had my check Emmision Light come on last night after pumping gas the day before. I had to tighten the gas cap but it didn't shut the light off. The car does run fine but I do get quite a few Idle surges. I have to take it to the dealer now so they can inspect it. I know some people on here had the same thing so I will contribute my findings as to what the idle surges are related to with the emissions light.

 

I just came back and it was my GAS CAP - . I am going to still get the Hurst Short Shifter as planned.
