Default Anyone Have This?

It's the magnetic blackout rather than then the 3m type. If so how is the quality and fit? Also if the carbon fiber one is any good?http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2005-...spagenameZWDVW

It's been awhile, but, someone hadda pic of there's. From what I remember, they were pleased, and the fit was OK. Worth a try for under $50, I feel. I like the fact sometimes, you can go plain, sometime BO. Like having 2 different cars. I'll probably get 1 myself.

If the quality is decent I would buy one in a heartbeat. I like that look a lot. Let us know if any one pulls the trigger on buying.

My GT is black so it really wouldnt look any different on mine. It does look good on the colors tho, just my 0.02.

Ive been thinking about getting the one that forces you to remove the faux gas cap. For some reason, I think those look hot.

I've been thinking on one of these for a long while. But, I would prefer to go with one of the acrylic models, since they are high gloss, as opposed to flat black. The other idea I had seen mentioned for these, was to replace the 3M tape they come with, with the "magnetic tape" you can buy at any hardware store. Instant magnetic panel, changeable at will.....

I dunno....we shall see....

That's a great idea to just change the glue on ones. Good way to see if you want it there all the time..

Yep, I had one. The fit was very good but I had two issues. I cleaned the car very carefully but still had bumps under the magnet. The magnet itself had very small specs which looked like bubbles once intalled. Also, I kept the magnet on during the winter. Although I didn't drive the car in snow that much I was amazed as to how much white chalky residue was under the panel. You're supposed to remove it periodically to wash the car. The panel is currently stuck to the side of my freezer in the garage.
