Default CDC hoodstruts installed!

I put these on last nite when I was about half lit. Easy install, but I do recommend painting the stainless brackets. They dont look anywhere as nice as the ones in their ads. But semi gloss black helps 'em blend in better. I think these look a hell of a lot better than those sold by Redline. Their struts stick out too far for my tastes and look more "added on" than these do. It sure is nice to dump that damn factory proprod! Check 'em out here...http://www.classicdesignconcepts.com...splay/666.html

Nice! Got mine the other day, waiting on them to get back from the polisher to install them. Polished stainless should look nice.

Nice Job, You can also order them from mrt-direct.com. You can ordered them Poweder coated black from them. that's what's on mine, looks better than just bare metal.

Either way though it's a hundred times better than the prop rod

Well i just got done installing mine as well. When i received mine i was not happy at all with the way they looked in the bare stainless steel look. So i sent mine off to be chromed. It cost me more than the struts kit itself but it was well worth it. I will post pictures tomorrow for you all to see. This is a great mod in mym opinion. It allows the hood to open further and it gets the hood prop out of the way along with not haing a hood strut in the way the way some of the other kits do. Besides I can now install the Custom Billet Logo I am haing made for the Radiator Shroud spot.

You can buy the CDC kit with the brackets powder coated black already and yes the stickers peel off. I took mine off.
