I recommend to the manger of this web site that you start a page that is an international database of professional speed shops that either specialize or have a good reputation for working on Mustangs. This database would have a city/state search capability that would link members to a list of speed shops that are within their area. If this page already exist I will bite my tongue, just please point me in the right direction. If doesn't exist I think this would be a great opportunity for more sponsors and for Mustang owners to have better access to professional support if they see fit. Please tell me what you think.

Who's gonna pay for all this research ?
Is MF liable for giving out an improper endorsement ?
You could probably find this on your own.

I am sure their are lots of shops that would be willing to pay. Research would have to be done by member feedback and faith that the shop who is paying for face time really does work on Mustangs. Yes you could do it yourself with a lot of leg work. My proposal would cut it down on the time consumed on finding shops within a state that works on Stangs.

So, Bucky Beaver Butt Kickin Speed Shop, pays $ to get on the list.

It's up to MF and the members, to validate their services and work. BBBKSS pays $500 to get on the list, a member pays $2000 for mods that don't work, and Bucky f***s the 'stang up.

The member reports back.... Yup, he sho duz work on 'stangs, but........................... don't use Bucky, he sucks.

I get it, great proposal.

This, to me, is quite a good idea. Yes, it's at your own risk, but it's nice to have a database to refer to, at least for initial options.

I'm all for the idea. Especially because there's posts on 'whose reputable in area XYZ'. It could work similar to Ebay where the buyers (customers) can rate the shop and describe the work they've had done, and allow for disputes to be handled appropriately. Then the shops that do good work rise to the top. No liability for MF.

good shops breed a good reputation on the website. if someone has a good experience at a local place, they will likewise tell others.

Thanks for the support fellas. Now if I can get an administrator to support the idea we could get some progress. What say you boss?
