Default Nitto 555's

I'm about to change my wheels and tires and I know other here have these tires but I thought I read complaints about ride and/or road noise with them.

Any comments from those who have them are appreciated, even some comparisons to other tires you've owned including our stock Pirellis. Thanks!!

my ride is rough, but the tubular steel everything, the spotline springs, and the blown out shocks might have sooooomething to do with it.

I have Nitto 555s on mine. They're good tires, decent traction. Aside from that, you can google them and read plenty of reviews.

I also have installed the Nittos 555 on my car. They do ride a little rougher on the stock suspension. I have had them on less than a week & I already have a nail in one of the rear tirs. So off to the shop tomorrow to get it patched[sm=headbang.gif]

555's here as well. I personally contribute the rougher ride to the fact that mine are 20's. (Dealer install) I have noticed they seem to be
a bit noisy, especially if you are on the freeway that has those damn channeling grooves....

That being said, they hook up beautifully, seem to be wearing well, and look great. I too, have picked up a nail in two of em. I'm very leary
about taking it in, because of the rims.....

+1 Couldn't have said it any better! (For 20's that is)

The ride is a little louder, but nothing I would complain about.

05,

Yep, isn't that why the auto volume on the radio is adjustable??
