Default Two week old car got egged!

I can't believe it. I have never had vandalism in my neighborhood and leave my Jeep out with no doors on it sometimes. I got up Saturday morning to find four eggs plastered on my brand new GT!! I dont have any enemys and its apparant they chose to only hit my car. My neighbor has an 04 Cobra accross the street and they didnt touch it. I got out there at 7AM so I washed it off. However, there are spots that didnt come completely off and the sun did a number. I booted my dirt bike out to the side of the house cabled to a tree and had to build a platform so that the front of the Mustang would go up over a raised section at the front of the garage. As I was waxing it last night I found four spots that are visible when you look against the light. Any idea what I might use to remove it?

Having something nice sucks because of this kind of crap. Two weeks old, 1200 miles and I have had a piece of concrete hit the front Cervini lower grill and bend it up and screw up the paint and now this. Just not giving me warm fuzzys.

Interesting note is that the car felt completely dry as in having no wax on it even though I picked it up 10 days ago from the dealer. Once I coated it with some Carnuba its slick as glass and has a nice wet looking finish.

I ended up missing the Hot Rod Power Tour at the Orange County Convention Center Saturday morning because I had to deal with this cr*p. Did anyone go? How was it?

so sad to hear when @ssholes screw up a nice car if i were you i would take it to a body shop to see what they say about getting the egg off.. just think though.. they probably only did your car because they thought it was the nicest. i know that doesnt help much but hey what can ya do

also i would suggest getting a car cover, thats what i did, theyre only 200 bucks for the noah all weather ones from carcoverworld.com as opposed to 400 from the dealership

Just a suggestion, try a "clay bar", you will probably have to do the whole car. But, I think it might work.
Sorry about your car.
GOOD LUCK

I'm mad and it wasn't to me, I bet you must be really pissed off.
Next time go to Auto Zone and get those All weather car covers with lifetime warranty for less than $50.00 and use it when you go to sleep.

thanks for the replys. I will try a clay bar and see if it does the trick. You can see it when viewed from an angle. At least its in the garage now so the sun is beating down on it. Its almost like I hate to use it as my DD because its going to get screwed up. Right now the paint (with the exception of the few spots) is like a show car finish and the wheels have been chrome polished and then waxed. I almost hate to drive it. On the other hand, my reason for not buying an NSX or a period muscle car was to have a car to be able to drive. Its a tough decision. My Jeep will be for sale soon so I wont have a choice but to make it my DD. As my wife said, it gets a lot of attention, some of it not so good. I think I am going to pursue getting LoJack installed. My detective friend recommended it and told me that they have had good luck recovering cars with it. Just as a note, some crooks will steal a car and park it in a parking lot like an airport where cars are parked round the clock and leave it and watch it for a couple of days to see if it gets recovered rather than looking for the lojack transmitter.

Wow. I feel your pain. A certain person I trusted washed my car for me and put wicked swirl marks all over it when it was two weeks from brand new. [sm=chairshot.gif] Then the chip in the stripes on the hood, and the possible shopping cart ding in the fender and I soon stopped caring. Hopefully the egg marks are reversable but one day something else will happen (unless you keep her locked up in the garage forever... so cruel) and life will go on!

Raise a pack of pittbulls and just leave them unchained next to your house and teach them how to kill anyone who passes in front of your car....
Eggs on the car don't typically come off I know from experience....unless you get them off before they dry. Still sucks
