Has anyone installed a T handle hurst shifter?
Just tallking about the T handle itself. Is the shifter shaft long enough for one of these? I have a billet Roush and I dont particularly like the feel. Does anyone know if the threading is standard i.e. counterclockwise to loosen?

I put one on this week. You'll have to get the universal metric kit. They have several different inserts. Use the 12x1.5, wrap it in a rag and hold it with pliers/vice, and rethread with a 12x1.25 tap. I got the tap for $5 from Amazon (plus shipping). Apparently the 12x1.25 is the spark plug thread size for some sort of engine.

Here is where I bought the handle: (the -0033 model)

One thing to note, removal of the stock **** left a big gap in the boot. I may get some 3/8 fuel hose and put it inside some heater hose and make a grommet of sorts, but I'm seriously considereing just buying the whole Hurst shifter anyhow. The tread on this forum (and pix) looks pretty good.
