If I got the gears will my dealership be able to see I had the changed. I asked permission he said no. He approved the CAI/with tune. He knows about the pullys (no big deal). I'm thinking of the 4:10 gears until I put some more miles on the car. I have an extended warranty but I'm going to cheat soon.

To me the 3.55's are about right. I would rather add power to pull through the gears than gear down. But maybe one day I will change them.

Hitting 60mph in second is nice. I doubt that would be possible with different gears. So far the spacing seems about right, I can come though some of my favorite turns in the top of second and be right where I need to be to accelerate out of the corner still in second.

I would rather be the high middle/top of second than the bottom of third.

you really need a different dealer. ford racing makes ring and pinion gears, someone will be here shortly to explain how the whole warranty thing works; magnusson moss, etc. im surprised the UDP's didn't void the warranty. basically, if ford makes the part, even if u buy it from someone else, it can't void the warranty. especially if u get it from ford racing, which their gears happen to be top quality. im exhausted right now, tooo tired to explain.

They say it's the best quality out there, So other than that they all look the same u have to care about the quality.

Which is im thinking of getting the 4.10's

But will the dealers know ? cuz i too do still have the warranty, And is Tune really really needed ? because if it is then im going to order a CAI and sct first.

An SCT X-2 can change the rear gear setting in the computer so your speedo/odo read proiperly if you put new rear end gears in.

I know it doesn't void my warranty but its just the hassle of it all.

Dude, Saud, you dont have a CAI and tuner? You should definitely invest in that. Great upgrade. Also would probably help your engine breath alot better with that weather there. The tune will help recalibrate ur speedometer. After you change the gears, ur speedo will be off. The dealer wouldnt notice it unless you told them or unless you had problems with it.

I would agree with zx9rpilot, altho I have 3.73, the pull in 5th is just what the car needed on the highway. No need to down shift, unless you really need to take off!

Personally the 4:10s' are great on the interstate and city because you get there so much quicker and it doesn't bother me cruising on the interstate at 3750rpms going a 100mph. If I was living in Germany yeah I would go with the 3:73s' for the simply reason of hauling *** on the interstate 130mph or more however since I live in the States I'm sold on the 4:10s' I hate giving up my ability to haul *** at any given moment with anything lower.
