I'm withholding judgement on the Shelby until real people start buying them and reporting back. I suspect that with some mild mods the Shelby is going to be kicking a$$ and taking names. But all the pessimists out there would rather just right it off before they even see one [sm=dontgetit.gif]

They tested the 500 against a c6 vette. Of course that vette has 100 less hp then the 500 and we all know what happened. I would die for the 500, but my GT is all I need to turn heads.

I'm not comparing prices, I'm well aware, that M6 costs more than twice than GT500. Yes, these cars are totally different. One is sports/luxury and the other is muscle car, which is best at straight line acceleration. But once again, what amazes me that both cars have same power. I repeat: same 500 hp. And almost same weight. (M6 is slightly heavier).
But for some bizzare reason M6 trap speed is (read my lips)- 9 mph faster!! How come?? I'm not talking about ET's which M6 is way faster mainly because of better traction and weight balance. I am comparing the trap speed.
Now all the smart guys out there, I don't need any more insulting posts. If you don't understand physics or just can't accept the fact, that Ford sometimes sucks, just don't post anything.
I would greatly appreciate for any logical input.
