wow what is that you painted thats on the engine, the intake manifold? Id like to know HOW you painted that.. looks cool in the red but I dont think it would do me much good, I have satin silver [8D] Like the air filter box too, thats unique, Id do that but mine is getting replaced with a C&L soon

there my valve covers. i took them off, hit them with brake cleaner. primer them, wet sand with 600 grit. and 2 coats of paint. first coat go light, then spray on a finish coat. let dry for an hour or so. put back on carfully as not to scratch them. start engine ck for leaks. let engine coma all the way to operating temp then close hood and say goodnight, so they can cure. ive always did it this way and have never had any problems. i used regular car paint, my paint code. i was fixing my chin spoiler and painted all this with the left over paint. i think blue would look good under your hood. you could also get some blue anodized fuel rails.

Yeah I planned on getting the blue C&L CAI in a few days. I was trying to keep the scheme silver/black, but under the hood its like a totally different world, so maybe Ill check into the blues and see what shades there are.
