07 Options
Yes, many of us have already ordered '07's and in fact I have seen a pic of one that has already arrived at a dealership (Grabber Orange). They have some interesting new options for '07 included heated seats, an upgrade package that includes a hood scoop, engine plenum cover and rolled exhaust tips and an interior premium trim package that includes a "wrapped & stitched IP brow" (dash cover), stitched console cover and stitched armrests. That last package is rumored to be in leather.
The 3.55 gear ratio is an option for the 5 speed. I think you'll find everything you need here http://www.stangsunleashed.com/docs/...ide.031306.pdf
There are pics floating around out there. Some interesting options in all but I doubt we will see leather wrapped and stitched parts. I think that it will either vinyl or the weird "leather" like on the door panel inserts.
Major options I see are the heated seats, power passenger seat and maybe the mirror. The chrome tips are just a 10 minute bolt on as are the polished pedals. If you like their scoop and engine cover those shouldent be horribly difficult to do. Even the wrapped and stitched parts shouldent be too bad.
So really it is the power pass seat, heated seats, and the interior trim upgrades. But as far as I can read, to get the wrapped and stitched treatment they limit your color choices and they change the color scheme to two tone all over. So the seats would be dark leather in the middle with light bolsters or vice versa. I am not really a great fan of that look.
The one thing that is interesting is that the 3.55 gears are optional now on the stick GT cars. One dealer who was going to order me an 07' now tells me that a few of his customers 07' stick GT cars are coming in with 3.31 gears since they didnt know it had to be specified on the 07 when ordered. And it is too late to change the first couple cars coming in so he has couple upset owners.

I wonder if Ford made the 3.55 an option because so many were changing the stock 3.55 to 4.19? The other thought is MPG... lower RPM's at highway speeds.... I think it's too bad the dealers weren't very aware of this change, of course - the dealers weren't very aware of a lot of the subtle changes in the 07... the forums were quicker with the information than the Ford reps...

According to Ford employees that are posting over on Stangs Unleashed, the seats are NOT two tone. There were some rumors of that, but it's not what they're seeing on the assembly line. Only the Shelby and C/S have two tone seats.
